All my rats live in the rat room in my house, they are all family pets. I have 2 Explorer cages with bucks in one and does in the other. I use shredded cardboard in the bases of my cages, with safebed for bedding and Smartcat paper based cat litter for litter trays.

My rats are fed on a dry mix based on the Shunamite diet, with added fresh foods inc curly kale, spring greens or broccoli everyday .

I also have critter 1 cage for does with babies.

All babies are handled daily by myself and family, and are used to the everyday noises of hoovering and teenagers.
